House Rules

Guests will please observe the guidelines outlined below. These rules are designed to maintain peace in the property so all guests enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay.

-To make check-in simple, we provide starter quantities of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap/pods, and detergent. Our supplies should last the duration of a typical 3-day stay. For longer stays, additional supplies can be purchased at any of the nearby grocery or convenient stores.

-No shoes in the house; please help us protect the century-old floors

-Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am

-Do not exceed the allowed number of guests for the space. This is a safety issue and will not be tolerated.

-No undisclosed guests or overnight visitors

-No parties or loud music

-No pets allowed; $250 cleaning fee

-Do not engage in underage drinking or smoking on the premises; smoking or discarding cigarette butts in the premises will incur a $250 fee

-No illegal activities, drug use, underage drinking or smoking allowed

The space
This gorgeous home was built in 1898 and has been fully renovated top-to-bottom. Guests will appreciate the original rich hardwood flooring, crown molding, and high ceilings that are complemented with tasteful furnishings to create an intimate space to relax.

This ground level apartment has two bedrooms located at the back of the home to ensure a peaceful night's rest. The full-size bathroom is conveniently located between the two bedrooms, and a powder room can be found just off the kitchen, co-located with the laundry room.

After spending a long day sightseeing and enjoying all Savannah has to offer, you can come home to relax on the front porch with your friends or family.
Guest access
Guests are allowed to park one car in the private parking spot. Additionally, guests share the front door, which leads to both apartments.
Additional notes
This fabulous home sits on a quiet street that is not frequently trafficked; however, you are likely to hear sounds typical of city living as you will be staying in the Heart of Downtown.

The home next door is currently undergoing renovations. It has been stripped down to the frame and will be built back up. So, during your stay, you are likely to see and hear a bit of construction between 8am and 5pm.

If you park behind the property, you must enter the backyard and walk around the building to reach the front door as there is no back door on the home.

The space is currently being re-furnished and re-decorated; therefore, the actual listing might be slightly different by the time you arrive. We update the pictures as areas are complete. Rest assured that we are investing on improved furnishings and decor, so your experience will not be negatively impacted by these minor changes.

Neighborhood overview
You will be in the heart of Historic Savannah. We are located on the Northwest side of Forsyth Park - walk-able to many excellent restaurants and bars. The Historic District downtown is also easily within reach on foot or a quick Uber away.

Set off East towards Clary's Cafe for breakfast before making your way North along Bull Street. Walk through each square to shop local retailers, grab a coffee or quick bite, or park yourself at a bench and just enjoy the Savannah scenery. Those in the mood for a true Southern meal will love being a stone's throw away from Mrs. Wilkes Boarding Room, with other local favorites such as 700 Drayton or Crystal Beer Parlor just a short walk from the apartment.

Popular tourist areas such as River Street and City Market are just a 20-minute walk away, while Savannah's local green space - Forsyth Park - is only three blocks away.
Getting around
We think that walking around town is the best way to see the city! If riding is more your speed, we are a quick and inexpensive Uber or taxi to all of the downtown attractions. The free DOT trolley picks up just two blocks away and runs every fifteen minutes to the Historic District too!

If you drove here, park on one of the many available on-street parking spots and walk or ride around Savannah. Attention must be paid to the street sweeping schedule to avoid a parking fine. You can also avoid having to move your car during your stay by parking behind the property on its private parking spot.
