House Rules

Guests will please observe the guidelines outlined below. These rules are designed to maintain peace in the property so all guests enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay.

-To make check-in simple, we provide starter quantities of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap/pods, and detergent. Our supplies should last the duration of a typical 3-day stay. For longer stays, additional supplies can be purchased at any of the nearby grocery or convenient stores.

-No shoes in the house; please help us protect the century-old floors

-Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am

-Do not exceed the allowed number of guests for the space. This is a safety issue and will not be tolerated.

-No undisclosed guests or overnight visitors

-No parties or loud music

-No pets allowed; $250 cleaning fee

-Do not engage in underage drinking or smoking on the premises; smoking or discarding cigarette butts in the premises will incur a $250 fee

-No illegal activities, drug use, underage drinking or smoking allowed

The space
Guests will have access to two apartments, each with its own balcony, full kitchen, two bedrooms, and one bathroom. In all, you will be able to comfortably sleep eight guests during your stay.

The home is vibrant, beautifully appointed, sparkling clean, and expertly managed. Located just two blocks from Forsyth Park, you will have easy access to the best foods, drinks, and sights Savannah has to offer. You can conveniently walk or Uber just about anywhere in the downtown area.

We strive to provide our guests with a five-star Savannah stay; to that end, we communicate fast and consistently with our guests, have created an easy-to-follow self check-in process, and provide start-up quantities of toilet paper, K-cups, snacks and water.
Guest access
Guests will be able to park two cars in the assigned parking spots behind the building. There is additional free on-street parking in front of the building on Lorch Street.

This listing gives guests access to two apartments; “A” on the first floor, and “B” on the second story. You will have to climb 20-steps to access the second story.

Guests will be provided three codes 24-hours prior to their arrival. These three codes will give access to the main door and both apartments.
Additional notes
You will hear and experience noises typical of city living, so bringing a sleep mask and earplugs is recommended if you’re a light sleeper.

Additionally, the home immediately to the right of our apartment is undergoing renovations, so you might see or hear a bit of construction between the weekday hours of 8 am and 5 pm. Work has been slow, so chances are that you won’t see them at all.

Neighborhood overview
Calm and quiet neighborhood, only transited by folks that live or stay in the short street. You will experience the comfort and convenience of living in downtown Savannah without the hustle and bustle.

You will be in the heart of Historic Savannah. We are located on the Northwest side of Forsyth Park - walkable to many excellent restaurants and bars. The Historic District downtown is also easily within reach on foot or a quick Uber away.

Set off East towards Clary's Cafe for breakfast before making your way North along Bull Street. Walk through each square to shop local retailers, grab a coffee or quick bite, or park yourself at a bench and just enjoy the Savannah scenery. Those in the mood for a true Southern meal will love being a stone's throw away from Mrs. Wilkes Boarding Room, with other local favorites such as 700 Drayton or Crystal Beer Parlor just a short walk from the apartment.

Popular tourist areas such as River Street and City Market are just a 20-minute walk away, while Savannah's local green space - Forsyth Park - is only three blocks away.
Getting around
We think that walking around town is the best way to see the city! If riding is more your speed, we are a quick and inexpensive Uber or taxi to all of the downtown attractions. The free DOT trolley picks up just two blocks away and runs every fifteen minutes to the Historic District too!

If you drove here, park on one of the many available on-street parking spots and walk or ride around Savannah. Attention must be paid to the street sweeping schedule to avoid a parking fine. You can also avoid having to move your car during your stay by parking behind the property in its private parking spot.
