House Rules

Please understand and agree to the following:

-This apartment is located in the middle of downtown Savannah's restaurant and bar scene, so we installed city quiet windows to limit the sound and noise control curtains. Even then, expect to hear sounds typical of city living such as trash removal, music, etc.

-To improve your sleep quality, each bedroom is equipped with an air purifier and sound machine. Feel free to turn those on as you ready to rest for the night. Earplugs are also provided in the nightstand if you are a light sleeper.

-We ask that guests keep the windows closed at all times to avoid the strong smell of food coming from the nearby Flock to the Wok restaurant. Air purifiers are provided in the bedroom should you be bothered by the scent.

-Please leave all wet towels on the bathroom floor and do not mix wet linen with dry linen - our cleaning team will greatly appreciate the gesture :)

-Paid public street/garage parking is available nearby. As is typical in urban locations, there is no designated parking spot for this apartment. Street parking and nearby parking garages are available.

-This is a 2nd-floor apartment, so please be mindful of the 25 steps to the apartment entrance.

-The city is wrapping up street construction. This suite is located on the back of the building but we wanted to give guests a heads up that the city will be working on the block. This will probably affect traffic patterns as well as parking availability immediately off the building.

-To make check-in simple, we provide starter quantities of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap/pods, and detergent. Our supplies should last the duration of a typical 3-day stay. For longer stays, additional supplies can be purchased at any of the nearby grocery or convenience stores.

-Guests will please observe the guidelines outlined below. These rules are designed to maintain peace in the property so all guests enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay.

-No shoes in the house; please help us protect the century-old floors.

-Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 7 am

-Do not exceed the allowed number of guests for the space. This is a safety issue and will not be tolerated. Violating this rule will cause the termination of your stay without a refund.

-No undisclosed guests or overnight visitors.

-No parties, events, or loud music allowed. Please respect quiet hours.

-This apartment is a pet-free zone due to our cleaner's extreme pet allergy. Evidence of pet presence will immediately trigger the termination of your stay without the possibility of a refund. Additionally, you will be responsible to pay for additional cleaning services used in the apartment.; $250 cleaning fee.

-Do not engage in underage drinking or smoking on the premises; smoking or discarding cigarette butts in the premises will incur a $250 cleaning fee.

-No illegal activities, drug use, underage drinking, or smoking are allowed. This will trigger an immediate termination of the stay with no refund.

**Following these simple rules is crucial to building and maintaining trust in this sharing economy.

The space
This gorgeous two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment is on the 2nd-floor of an 1860 historic building on Broughton Street. The spacious 1,272-square-foot unit features original hardwood flooring throughout and original exposed brick in the bedrooms.

Conveniently located above the Savannah Bee Company and Coffee Fox, you’ll enjoy close proximity to everything downtown Savannah has to offer. Walk to popular area shops, restaurants, museums, art galleries, and entertainment venues - including Jepson Center for the Arts, Lafayette Square, and City Market.

Parking is typically found on the street at the rate of $2 an hour. Street parking is free between the hours of 8pm and 8am (Mon-Sat and all day Sunday) North of Liberty St. South of liberty St., parking is free between 8pm and 8am (Mon-Fri) and all day on Sundays. You can also find parking at Whitaker Street Parking Garage, which is only two blocks away. The garage's daily rate is $16. Guests will have access to the apartment and all of its amenities using the provided codes. The building and apartment codes are sent 24-hours prior to arrival. Guests are not allowed to enter the premises prior to the approved check-in time.

Internal doors with electronic locks lead to storage closets; please do not attempt to open.
Additional notes
The Home was built in 1860 and is located in a very vibrant part of downtown. Nearby cafes, restaurants, and bars are at your fingertips, but this does mean there is some city noise. To make your stay as comfortable as possible, we have installed brand new, custom-built windows with additional CitiQuiet panels to dampen the noise. We also include noise-dampening curtains, sound machines, and earplugs for our light-sleeping guests. The best of city living!

Walk through each square to shop local retailers, grab a coffee or quick bite, or park yourself at a bench and just enjoy the Savannah scenery. Those in the mood for a true Southern meal will love being a stone's throw away from Mrs. Wilkes Boarding Room, with other local favorites such as 700 Drayton or Crystal Beer Parlor just a short walk from the apartment.

Popular tourist areas such as River Street and City Market are just a short walk away, while Savannah's local green space - Forsyth Park - is South of the apartment, only blocks away.
Getting around
We think that walking around town is the best way to see the city! If riding is more your speed, we are a quick and inexpensive Uber or taxi to all of the downtown attractions. The free DOT trolley runs every fifteen minutes in and out of the Historic District too!

If you drove here, park on one of the many available paid on-street parking spots or garages and walk or ride around Savannah.
